Seventeen Queen was a Santa Cruz band (1995 - 1996) started by Rex Shelverton (guitar/vox), Jeremy Bringetto (bass, Jonah Buffa (guitar) and Simon (drums. Later, Michael Graves joined on piano and bass, and Mag took over on drums.

The project culminated in a national tour during the summer of 1996. The band probably played a total of about 40 to 50 shows. Afterwards, members moved on to start the band The Audience, which later became Vue.
