L.A.B. is the solo four-track recording project of past Santa Cruz musician Tony Burchyns (1996-2006). While Burchyns is better known for his guitar playing and singing in such Santa Cruz bands as Half Czar, Subtle Oak Complexity and the Keystone Eyes, his solo tapes and cds were well-known among a number of local scenesters. They include his debut cassette album "Bye, Eddie" (1996), his follow-up cassette album "The Royal We" (1998), the e.p. "Keeping No. 1" (2001) and his newest collection "Evil Riding Hoods" (2007). All of his home recordings have been done on fourtrack.
