Marco Mysterioso

Marco Mysterioso (Marco Yovino Merokee or Marco Pogo) was in The Schematix and Dalkon Shield. Marco played the guitar, bass and, notably, the accordian (years before it was cool).
He and Tiger Ward briefly dated before she moved to London in 81.
He was a political activist for the rights of tenants. He was a voracious reader, and writer. He wrote an un-produced screenplay on the downtown Santa Cruz scene and the Loma Prieta Earthquake called "Lomo, Oh Loma."
He died of AIDS in Long Island, New York in 2000. He was in New York at the time to help organize a national rent strike.
He was an honorary member of the Ohlone tribe.
