Myk Erxn (real name: Mike Erickson) was a co-founder of Scrud fanzine, who was allegedly fired from (or quit) that position by his teenage cohorts for claiming to be a communist. He went on to become a founding member of the Young Alcoholics, though when the band played its first major gig as Skin a Dog, he did not appear onstage but rather hung out and played a role more like spiritual leader. He ultimately became the band's guitarist, at one point shaving his head and appearing onstage with painted-on hair.
Myk Erxn and Scot E. Wheeler were also in the short lived band Woolworthless. The band centered around a plastic guitar and mic the two had purchased at Wollworths. The band disbanded shortly after one street performance.
