Nightlife was a lounge-new wave band (1981) consisting of Merle Ellis (keyboards), Charlotte Ellis (bass) and Johnny Leo (drums). They had a regular gig at Dietrich's in the Holiday Inn.

Their lounge act included covers of Blondie and Bing Crosby and saxophone duets with pre-recorded tapes.
