Rotten Richie
From WikiSCUM
Rotten Richie (real name: Richard Walker) was the drummer of the Child Prostitutes, and also played briefly for the Schematix. One of the few African-American musicians on the Santa Cruz scene in the early '80s, he was accosted by security guards at a VKTMS show at UCSC on February 27, 1981 after heckling the band about their song "100% White Girl." The guards' treatment of him was unduly harsh, and he sued the university on the grounds that his civil rights had been violated. When he won a settlement a couple of years later, he invested some of the money in Club Culture.
