Steve Velasquez was in The Batteries, Red, and Not Cool.

He is a vintage drum collector and restorer. He plays drums with his daughter India in the jazz band India with StraightAhead. He has played with the Gil Cadilli Band. He is a founding member of the original "StraightAhead" ensemble. He now plays in the Randy Girard Group.
