The Cranks are a Santa Cruz rock band consisting of Americo Castillo (drums) and Mike Hilden (guitar/vox). They formed January 1, 2005.

Americo and Mike came to Santa Cruz for school and employment. They were previously in Sapos Muertos (2000 - 2004) with Seth Millwood (bass).
