The Strain

The Strain were a jazz-punk Santa Cruz band (1979 - 1981). They consisted of Gil Cadilli (bass/vox), Richie Begin (drums/vox) and Walt Trindade (guitar/vox).

Their songs incldued "This New Wave Life Style Is Killing Me and All of My Friends," "Take Your Clothes Off," and "The Girl in the Pink Camaro."

They recorded many songs, but never released any vinyl.
